Restaurant critic says 7 of 10 best Chinese restaurants in America are in the San Gabriel Valley

David R. Chan gave rave reviews to a number of local restaurants serving Chinese cuisine over anything found on the East Coast or even in Los Angeles' Chinatown.

Included were Din Tai Fung in Arcadia, Sea Harbour in Rosemead, and Elite Restaurant in Monterey Park, among others.
