Wanted: Work of Art

The Four Questions

1) What is your roleplay about?
My roleplay "Work of Art" is basically about 7 artists with powers that try to bring back the concept of Color to their city while attempting to defeat an evil organization

2) Why is your idea so much better than the rest?

Well, my roleplay involves the concept of art and it shows many 21st century art movements. After seeing the main focus on the Roleplay, I decided to take a look at other roleplays on the site. I got some ideas and influences from them, I mixed in "superheroes", "art", and the concept of corruption into this roleplay"

3) What do you want from potential roleplayers?

Descriptive writing, free from texting slang (your OMFG's and LOL's basically) and one liners (my biggest pet peeve in roleplaying). I'd also like the writing to be situational because it gives other writers more opportunities to think about what they write.

4) Who are you?

A 16-year old roleplayer, I have a year of role playing experience in my belt, I run a lot of roleplays on the site. I'm not much of a creative writer (my style of writing is persuasive) but I'm here to grow and learn day by day.

1. Overview

Prologue:

The history of Chroma City began in 1982 when two graffiti artists from New York City grew tired of the limited opportunities in the urban area because whenever they would create a mural of graffiti, the police will either jail them or make them remove the mural completely. One half of the Graffiti Artists codenamed Ecko decided to build a city that will allow art to have limitless boundaries. The other codenamed Dali decided to spread news that both of them (Ecko and Dali) built a city and to spread the influence of art in today's youth and society. Ecko instilled the influence of graffiti in the city while Dali diffused his ideas on surrealism and other styles of 19th century art in the city. In March 29th 1982, Chroma City is finally finished from the blood, sweat and tears from the duo of Ecko and Dali. However, disagreements arose between the two and Dali left the city forming the government of Chroma City. The government at the time had little power and Ecko instilled many colors from the color wheel to create a diversity of art all around the city. After 20 years of urbanistic influence, Ecko died peacefully in his sleep. However, the government of Chroma City decided to break off from the city and renamed themselves as the Monochrome Organization bent from turning Chroma City into a metropolis of black and white

Plot:

In 2012, it has been 20 years since Ecko died, Many have flocked to Chroma City in search to follow their artistic values or to simply become an artist. Some have been searching for an art style to follow but others prefer to enjoy art at its best. After Ecko died, his spirit instilled the true power of art in many people throughout the globe. Most of the time, it is dormant but some have awoken their true potential and others have awakened it in a later time. As a result, it gives the individual supernatural powers. Anyway, the Monochrome Organization with Dali leading the group decides to suck the color out of Chroma City. Within minutes, the city is without color, no one cannot express their feelings through paintings and sculptures. However, 7 artists from around the globe are against the fact that Chroma City has no color. The 7 young artists believe that color is fundamental in art and they must regain the concept of color while attempting to defeat the Monochrome Organization. Will they regain the concept of color to Chroma City or will "color" disappear forever.
